DAY 1, MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADÈS VALLEY

At 8:00 in the morning we meet at the hotel or riad where you are staying in Marrakech, to take you on a trip towards the port of Tizi Ntichka (2,260m altitude) making our way through numerous villages of Berber nomads that inhabit the area. Spectacular landscape that will take us to one of the best preserved and most famous kasbahs in all of Morocco: the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, famous for being the setting for more than twenty films, such as Babel, Gladiator, Obelix, Sahara with Penelope Cruz. . Lunch will be in Ait Benhaddou, before continuing the road to Ouardazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt, the Valley of Roses, the great palm grove of Skoura and Boumalne, where we will enjoy the rocky landscape known as “the brain of the Atlas”. Dinner and accommodation will take place in the Dadès Valley.

DAY 2: DADÈS GORGES – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA

We will continue via the Todra Gorges, where you can take a pleasant walk among its imposing canyon with walls more than 200 meters high.
This area is a paradise for all climbers in the world. After lunch in a restaurant in the Gorges and continuation towards the Merzouga desert, passing through the palm grove of Tafilalet and Erfoud. Once in the impressive Dunes of Merzouga we will have a glass of hospitality tea.
We rested a little. Afterwards, there is the possibility of taking a walk on the fine sand of Erg-Chebbi. The dinner menu includes a delicious Berber dish.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – AROUND THE ERG CHEBBI – NIGHT IN THE DESERT

After a delicious breakfast in Merzouga, we will get into the 4X4 to discover the dunes of Merzouga. Starting with Erg-chebbi where we will make a special stop at a panoramic point where we can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. Then, we will visit the Berber village of Khamlia where you can enjoy a small show of Gnawa music that is well known in the area. Returning to the hotel in the afternoon, we will ride the camels towards the Great Dune of the Erg Chebbi desert. During the walk, approximately an hour and a half, we will be able to appreciate the beautiful sunset and have a glass of tea when we arrive at our camp. Delicious dinner, drum music, unique landscapes, starry sky, Berber tent, stories and laughter, and new memories are being created.

4 Day: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Zagora

After an early wake-up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, you’ll return by camel to your hotel in Merzouga for breakfast and a refreshing shower. From there, the journey continues to Rissani, a historic town known for hosting the largest souk in southern Morocco, where locals trade everything from artisan crafts to livestock and food. Along the way, you’ll pass through Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops, and the lush Ziz Valley, home to over 18,000 palm trees. The drive then takes you through the stunning Draa Valley, renowned for its picturesque landscapes, ancient kasbahs, and sprawling date palm groves. By evening, you’ll arrive in Zagora, a charming town nestled in the Draa Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night.

DAY 5: ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE

FAfter breakfast in Zagora, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the town and its surroundings, including the iconic Tinfou Dunes and the famous “Timbuktu 52 Days” sign, a reminder of the ancient caravan routes that once connected Morocco to sub-Saharan Africa. Later, you’ll begin the journey back to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Along the way, you’ll visit the Ouarzazate Film Studios, where many famous movies and TV shows have been filmed, and the Kasbah of Taourirt, a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture. Lunch will be in Ouarzazate, followed by free time to explore the city or relax at your accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Ouarzazate.

DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

Following breakfast at your hotel in Ouarzazate, you’ll embark on the scenic drive back to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi Ntichka pass. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of valleys, Berber villages, and rugged mountain landscapes. A stop will be made for lunch at a local restaurant. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Marrakech, where you’ll be transferred to your riad or hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant city at your own pace, whether it’s wandering through the bustling souks, visiting historical landmarks, or simply relaxing after your adventure.
