BOOK NOW

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Dadès Gorges

Pick up at 8:00 in the morning at the Hotel or Riad where you are staying in Marrakech. We will leave for the High Atlas, crossing the port of Tizi N’Tichka, making some stops with panoramic views. We will make our way through numerous villages of Berber nomads that inhabit the area. We will continue towards Ouarzazate. We will cross the Valley of the Roses, to enter the Dadès Valley, where the so-called “route of a thousand kasbahs” begins. We will pass through the “monkey fingers”, a rocky landscape known as “the brain of the Atlas”. Next we will arrive at our destination. Dinner and accommodation in the Dadès Valley.

Day 2: Dadès Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert

After breakfast at the hotel. We head to the Todra Gorges, where you can take a pleasant walk among its imposing canyon walls more than 200 meters high. It should be remembered that Todra is the favorite place for climbers. After lunch, we will leave towards the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet and Erfoud. As soon as we reach the desert, we will have a glass of hospitality tea while we rest a little. We will leave our suitcases at the hostel and depart in a camel caravan towards the heart of the desert on a one and a half hour ride in which we will appreciate the fantastic sunset over the Sand dunes. The evening plan includes an authentic Berber dinner accompanied by a drum music show. We will sleep in a nomadic tent while enjoying the spectacular immense sky full of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

In the morning we will get up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga before returning to the Hostel to shower. Next, we head towards Rissani, Morocco’s first imperial city containing the largest souk in southern Morocco. After walking there, we headed to Ouarzazate, passing through the Draa Valley and its thousands of palm trees. Dinner and accommodation in Ouarzazate.

Day 4, Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we head to Ait Benhaddou, but before doing so there is the possibility of visiting a film studio in Ouarzazate. On the way we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the port of Tizi n’Tichka, until we reach one of the best preserved kasbahs and one of the most famous in all of Morocco: the kasbah of Ait benhaddou, famous for being the scene of more of about twenty films, such as Gladiator or the Jewel of the Nile, Babel. In the afternoon we will arrive in Marrakech.
