My husband and I traveled in May of 2025 to Morocco with a couple who are fun neighbors. It was my husband’s second trip to Morocco with Wanderlust. Khalid was our driver and guide. He went above and beyond expectations to keep us safe on the road. While driving he gave us fascinating insights into the culture, religion, agriculture, geography and food of his country. He answered our questions. He also coordinated with local guides to give us tours that were interesting to us. For example, one of us weaves, so we met some masterful weavers working at their looms. He anticipated our needs for rest breaks, made sure restaurants were clean and served the food we desired. We were honored that Khalid took us to his family home to enjoy meeting his family. His mother made delicious Berber pizza and a multitude of tasty treats for us. Her tea was the BEST we had. Wanderlust booked well located and beautifully designed Riads for our stays. Many had hammams, roof top bars and excellent dining. All had large rooms or suites with decor that was fun and exotic. Over the course of 9 days, we felt that we had an excellent experience in Morocco. Winnie and Megan listened to our wishes and offered suggestions that made for a trip that was uniquely ours. We highly recommend Khalid as a driver and ambassador for his country and his Berber cultural roots.

Thank you very much to Mustapha and Hassan. We came all over from mexico and I was very amazed of how they speak very good Spanish. I felt so comfortable since my arrival because they pick me up at the Menara airport, they are very nice people and I am really grateful to them. My tour to agafay dessert was an incredible and unforgettable experience. I totally recommend the quad and the camel tour. Thank you again to take care of my friend and myself really good. I hope to come back soon.

We had an amazing round trip through Morocco. It was fascinating to see different parts of the country. The selection of places to visit and stay for the night was perfect. We were impressed by the diversity and beauty of the country, from the imperial cities to the desert. We also had the best time with Mustafa. He was a great and highly reliable guide as well as a careful driver. He also told us lots of interesting things about Moroccon life and culture - and at the same time gave us our own space to enjoy the country. We loved listening to Berber music and would always go back for another trip with him.
