Day 1 Explore Casablanca

Your 5-days Morocco tour begins with a warm welcome in Casablanca.

Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Then enjoy a relaxing walk along the Corniche, with free time to explore local cafés or seaside views. You may also discover the city center, including Mohammed V Square, before heading to your hotel.

Overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 2Casablanca → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes

After breakfast, depart from Casablanca and travel to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, famous for its well-preserved mosaics and historical ruins. Enjoy a guided walk through this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you’ll visit: Bab Mansour Gate/ Royal stables/Moulay Ismail Mausoleum

Take some free time for lunch and a short walk in the old medina before continuing your journey. Then head to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco.

Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 3Fes → Ifrane → Midelt→Ziz Valley→Merzouga Desert

Drive south from Fes toward the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through scenic landscapes and traditional Berber villages.

Stop at: Ifrane (known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”) / Cedar Forest (home of Barbary macaques) / Midelt for lunch

Continue your journey with panoramic views of the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and dramatic scenery, before reaching Merzouga Desert. Camel trekking across the golden dunes / Enjoy a breathtaking sunset in the Sahara / Traditional Berber music and campfire under the stars

Overnight in a luxury desert camp with private facilities.

Day 4Merzouga → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley

Wake up early in Merzouga Desert to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Return by camel or 4×4 to the village where your driver awaits.

Visit: Rissani traditional market, a lively and authentic trading center / Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and unique marble products , Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create a dramatic canyon ideal for walking and photography. Enjoy free time for lunch nearby. Then head to Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations and scenic landscapes, with stops along the way for panoramic views.

Dinner & overnight in a hotel.

Day 5Dades Valley → Ait Ben Haddou→ Marrakech

Depart from Dades Valley and journey toward Marrakech, passing through some of southern Morocco’s most scenic landscapes.

Travel through:Rose Valley, known for its fragrant rose fields and local products / Skoura palm groves, filled with traditional kasbahs /Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco”, Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and iconic filming location for movies like Gladiator. Enjoy time to explore the kasbah and take photos. Continue your journey across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass, with stops for panoramic views along the way, before arriving in Marrakech.

Moulay Idriss Zerhoun is a town in northern Morocco spread over two hills at the base of Mount Zerhoun. Just off the main square is the Mausoleum of Idriss I, a sacred destination that is open only to Muslims. It is said in Morocco that six pilgrimages to Moulay Idriss during the annual festival honoring the saint is equivalent to one Haj to Mecca.

     Best 5 days hosted by guide Zaid. Zaid was our driver and guide for 5 days starting in Casablanca and ending in Rissani. He was a not only an incredible driver and guide he was a perfect host too. He was very knowledgable in local history of important sites but also the culture too. His personal experiences and his willingness to share his own stories gave us first hand insight into Moroccan life. I would recommend Zaid and consider yourself lucky if you have him!!!

     Wonderlust and Hazim are the best! We did a day tour at Chefchauoen with Wonderlust and our tour guide Hazim was excellent!!! Very knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming into his town. Walking around he didn't just know the town, he knew everyone in town! That made it more of a special experience as we felt like we were fully connecting with the culture. He even made sure we found some Sfinge. Delicious 😋. We met him as a tour guide and left as family. Gracias hermano.

     Zaid with Morocco made our trip!! Just finished the most amazing 6 days with Zaid- traveling to Chefchaceoun/Fes/Merzouga. Zaid was door to door our host from airport to airport. He was so knowledgeable and personable. A total pleasure to travel with. So sad our time is over. He is the best ambassador for Morocco. We all thank him For his tender care and attention to every detail!!!

     Southern Morocco It was a great experience. We covered the southern part of Morocco. Youness, our tour guide was very informative and made sure we had the best overall experience. He also made arrangements for my vegetarian friend and we had some of the best food as well. He planned out our camel ride in the Sahara desert so that we could enjoy the sunset on our way to the tents. Again, shout out to Youness, great guy and very helpful throughout the trip. Definitely going to plan a trip to the Northern parts of Morocco with these guys.

     Paseo a Marruecos con Youness Echatri El paseo con Youness estuvo increible. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar muchos sitios y de comer una comida deliciosa. Le recomiendo a la persona que tenga la oportunidad de ir a marruecos, vaya a Merzouga con Youness. Es una persona muy responsable, muy buena gente, y que siempre sabe recomendar lo mejor! It was my husband’s second trip to Morocco with Wanderlust.  Khalid was our driver and guide. He went above and beyond expectations to keep us safe on the road. While driving he gave us fascinating insights into the culture, religion, agriculture, geography and food of his country.  He answered our questions.  He also coordinated with local guides to give us tours that were interesting to us.  For example, one of us weaves, so we met some masterful weavers working at their looms. He anticipated our needs for rest breaks, made sure restaurants were clean and served the food we desired.  We were honored that Khalid took us to his family home to enjoy meeting his family. His mother made delicious Berber pizza and a multitude of tasty treats for us.  Her tea was the BEST we had. Wanderlust booked well located and beautifully designed Riads for our stays. Many had hammams, roof top bars and excellent dining. All had large rooms or suites with decor that was fun and exotic. Over the course of 9 days, we felt that we had an excellent experience in Morocco. Winnie and Megan listened to our wishes and offered suggestions that made for a trip that was uniquely ours. We highly recommend Khalid as a driver and ambassador for his country and his Berber cultural roots.

I felt so comfortable since my arrival because they pick me up at the Menara airport, they are very nice people and I am really grateful to them. The selection of places to visit and stay for the night was perfect. We were impressed by the diversity and beauty of the country, from the imperial cities to the desert. We also had the best time with Mustafa. He was a great and highly reliable guide as well as a careful driver. He also told us lots of interesting things about Moroccon life and culture - and at the same time gave us our own space to enjoy the country. We loved listening to Berber music and would always go back for another trip with him.
