Morocco Itinerary – 10 Days Tour
Day 1 Tangier – Chefchaouen (Approx. 2-Hour Drive)
On the first day of your 10-day Morocco holiday from Tangier, we will pick you up from your accommodation, airport, or port in Tangier. Begin exploring this historic coastal city, known as the Bride of the North, located where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Spartel. Visit the famous Hercules Caves and enjoy panoramic views at Cape Spartel. After free time for lunch, continue your journey inland through Tetouan and the scenic Rif Mountains, with stops for breathtaking views along the way. Arrive in the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad.
Day 2Chefchaouen – Blue City Sightseeing (No Driving / Walking Tour)
After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most photogenic destinations. Known for its blue-painted streets and buildings, the city is nestled in the Rif Mountains and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Wander through the ancient Medina, filled with narrow alleys, whitewashed walls, and colorful doors.
After free time for lunch, you can hike to the Spanish Mosque, located on a hilltop overlooking the entire blue city. From here, enjoy stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. Return to your hotel for another relaxing overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
Day 3Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (Approx. 4-Hour Drive)
After breakfast, take a final stroll through Chefchaouen before heading to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved mosaics, arches, and historical remains. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you will visit landmarks such as Bab al-Mansour, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Fes, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad inside the old city.
Then continue on foot through the UNESCO-listed Medina of Fes, one of the oldest and most authentic in the world. With a local guide, explore highlights such as Al Attarine Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine University, and the vibrant Chouara Tanneries. After the tour, return to your riad for a relaxing evening.
Day 4Guided Sightseeing Tour of Fes (Short Drive + Walking Tour)
After breakfast, begin your guided exploration of Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Start with a panoramic drive including stops at the Royal Palace Gate, the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), and the Borj Sud viewpoint overlooking the Medina. Visit a traditional ceramics workshop to see local craftsmanship.
Then continue on foot into the UNESCO-listed Fes Medina, one of the world’s oldest living medieval cities. With a local guide, explore highlights such as Al Attarine Madrasa, the University of Al Quaraouiyine, and the famous Chouara Tanneries. After this immersive cultural experience, return to your riad for relaxation.
Day 5Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Approx. 7-Hour Drive)
After breakfast, travel south through Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine-style architecture and clean environment. Continue to the Cedar Forest, home to wild Barbary macaques, where you can enjoy a short walk in nature.
After lunch in Midelt, continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, with panoramic views of palm groves and mountain landscapes. Arrive in Merzouga Sahara, where you will begin a camel trekking adventure across the golden dunes. Stop to enjoy a magical sunset over the desert, then continue to your luxury desert camp for dinner, traditional music, and an unforgettable night under the stars.
Day 6Merzouga Exploration – Nomads – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi (Approx. 2-Hour Drive)
Day 7Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (Approx. 5-Hour Drive)
Day 8Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech (Approx. 5.5-Hour Drive)
Day 9Guided Tour of Marrakech (Short Drive + Walking Tour)
